Noch besser kommt seine Stimme bei der Power-Ballade «You Crossed My Way» zur Geltung. Hier erinnert er mich an Uriah Heep Sänger Bernie Shaw.

Das Piano-Intro zu diesem Song hat einen tollen Sound, dann kommen die Synths, um den Haupt-Piano-Part zu unterstützen. Der Gesang ist auch sehr präsent, und wenn die Band einsetzt, ist es gefühlvoll und subtil, ich liebe die sich verschiebenden Synthie-Pads, die sich einfach darunter bewegen, und dann der kleine Lead-Part zwischen dem Gesang in der zweiten Strophe, das ist großartiges Songwriting. Anstatt, dass die Band in ein Solo übergeht, was normalerweise der Fall wäre, ist das Solo auf einer Akustikgitarre eingespielt. Das passt so viel besser zum Gefühl des Songs, anstatt eines typischen Solos, gut gemacht, das ist ein phänomenaler Track!

🇬🇧 Enjoy the live version of our ballad “You Crossed My Way” from our album “Magic”. We performed the song on May 12th, 2024, at the Hirsch in Nuremberg ( @hirschnuernberg ).

„Two people get to know each other and spent a great night. The memory of this encounter and the intensity of the feelings are still there. And the question remains why this experience has not been repeated.“

“The piano intro to this song is a nice sound, and then the keys come in to support the main piano part. The vocals are nice and full too and when the band kicks in it’s nice and subtle, I love the shifting synth pads that just move underneath, and then the little lead part between the vocals in the second verse, this is great songwriting, instead of the band going into a solo, which would normally be the case, the solo is on a nylon string guitar and it fits the feel of the song so well, instead of a typical solo, well done, this is a phenomenal track! “
